Dr. Cherisa Sandrow is a Board Certified Family Physician. She received her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and practiced family medicine including obstetrics for 15 years.
Making the transition to telemedicine in 2015, she pivoted out of her busy office-based practice and created a thriving telemedicine practice, with the ability to prioritize her core values in life.
She decided to help other physicians with career transition, teaching them to use telemedicine as a temporary or permanent option to generate income while acquiring more flexibility and independence. She completed the Maxwell Leadership Certified Team Coaching, Speaking, Leadership, and Training Development Program, and now is a teacher and speaker with the John Maxwell Team.
Since our previous interview, Cherisa has expanded her coaching. It now includes a complete program with didactic sessions, and group and individual coaching designed to train clinicians to create creating a life of greatness and purpose, leveraging telemedicine as a tool to achieve these goals.
During our interview, Cherisa shares what she has learned about developing an effective telemedicine business. And she describes the components of her newly created course "From Here to There: Leveraging Virtual Medicine."
This course is comprehensive, with more than 10 outside speakers, covering topics from getting licensed and creating your business plan, to overcoming burnout and inventing your abundant life. It focuses on using telemedicine to make the move out of traditional practice, then deciding whether to move to a nonclinical career or remain in telehealth.
It includes group and individual coaching. And John Jurica will be presenting one of the lectures during the ten to twelve-week program.
