I love this show - breaks down complicated financial challenges into easy to understand concepts. I loved the state cheese episode especially!

Very engaging podcast, which is no small feat given the heavy economics covered, and it does well at displaying the human element in every story. The hosts also work well off each other and the people they interview. The only things I take issue with are that the ads are usually very standard...

This is one of few the podcasts make sure to listen to every week. It's fun, informative and surprisingly funny. It's a lighthearted look at economic current events and other interesting economic topics. Even if the topic isn't interesting this show finds a way to put an interesting twist on it....

My favorite NPR podcast. Unique storytelling style and I love the hosts. The whole show exudes a playfulness and humor that is perfect for people without any economics background.

Nearly every episode up until about two years ago was excellent but since then the quality of this podcast has greatly gone downhill. The biggest issues are that they now only put a minimal amount of effort into making most episodes, they goof around and giggle too much, there's now a very...

Love the podcast, would have given 5 stars, but someone needs to let you know “anywayS” is not a word in the English language.

This used to be one of my favorite podcasts but it has changed a lot over the last two years. The biggest differences are that the current hosts goof around and giggle way too much, they've been putting a lot less effort into making each episode, there's now a very strong liberal bias in this...

The topics covered are interesting and I learn a lot, in particular in those arras that I am not familiar with. However, this podcast comes with a heavy dose of left-wing bias. Some topics are politicized, even though there might not be any need or relevance to the topic being discussed. A...

I love this show! They are amazing at explaining how the economy (that invisible glue that keeps the planet in relative peace) works. Wonderful job guys! Im always running behind the episode list (just heard the one from your 10th year anniversary), but Im always catching up.

I am very interested in economics and finance. This podcast provides fascinating stories about all sectors of the economy. It really opens you up to new ways of thinking and ideas you would not have been exposed to otherwise. I would recommend this podcast to anyone who wants to better understand...

I’m an avid podcast consumer. I’m suscribed to around 30 podcasts +-. I really recommend this one. 🙋🏻‍♂️ One of my favorites of NPR. My best regards from La Paz, Baja California Sur, México 🇲🇽

A good listen when they stay focused. Branching into videos and other podcasts mean this one is losing its edge with a lot of repeats, and giggling hosts instead of breaking down how things used to work in our economy. But all good things change and time will see if it is for the better or not.
jwh-listener via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/27/18
I would not recommend listening to this one because it seemed more like a chore when it should be enjoyable. This podcast was centered around economics. I did find some episodes to be useful but most were things I didn't relate to or fully understand.

Anytime you tune in or I should say download or stream you’re pretty much guaranteed learn something new and interesting that expands your understanding of how markets work, industries developed, and policy decisions Ripple through the economy and impact everyone’s lives.

I thought Zoe Chases chain smoking exaggerated midwestern accent was bad enough but now it’s “Sarah Honsalez” with her valley girl voice that is both smug/condescending (she.speaks.with.a.pause.between.every.word like she’s reading to a very small child) and inappropriately flirty/giggly (she...

This is a pretty good show overall and I wish individual episodes could be reviewed. However, the cookie does not crumble this way. The episode, on Amazon being good for New York, that just finished playing in my headphones, prompted me to write this review. First of all, I understand that...

Anoctodial evidence with which they draw the conclusion that Amazon in NYC is good. That is waaaay below the lvl of rigor I expect from this show. Makes me suspect Amazon's donations to NPR might have been an influence....

I really enjoy listening to the myriad of stories planet money puts out, especially when they talk about topics I had never heard about such as the history behind the interest rate or how economists saved Brazil’s economy. Always eager to listen to every new episode and fairly consistent despite...

Some of the topics are a little complicated and boring but most are fun to listen to. For example I liked learning about the food tax and baseball game stadium pricing. :)

Im a social worker and love this! If you are thinking of giving it a try don’t assume it’s about economics. It’s about society. Enjoy!

Never thought that I would listen to an economics podcast, let alone love it as much as I do. The stories are so interesting and any economic theory or word is explained so it is easily understood. I always learn something new and interesting. I have recommended this podcast to everyone I know.

The show has some good insights into a topic that's usually boring but in this case isn't, so I've listened for over a year now. But after hearing episode 880 on Amazon, it was exactly what you'd exepect from reporters who get money from Amazon. They mentioned people who didn't like the new HQ in...

Topics are good but presentations are too often inaccurate and over simplified. The episode on inflation targeting missed the boat and will leave people misinformed.

A podcast made by terrible human beings
abnormaljames via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/08/18
Love this show but feel that the background noise is getting in the way of my listening. It seems the latest radio trend is to have a snare drum whacking away as you try to listen to an interesting podcast. If you go out for a nice dinner with someone do you reserve a 3rd chair for a kid with a...
