Money is biasing their reporting
The show has some good insights into a topic that's usually boring but in this case isn't, so I've listened for over a year now. But after hearing episode 880 on Amazon, it was exactly what you'd exepect from reporters who get money from Amazon. They mentioned people who didn't like the new HQ in NYC, but made zero attempt to talk to them, in the episode dedicated to investigating if Amazon is good for NYC or not. They said people they talked to largely weren't worried about Amazon, but many of them did express concern, even if they were choosing to be optimistic. Just because people accept negative situations doesn't mean those things aren't bad. All the economic insight in the world doesn't negate the need for common sense.Read full review »

When this first came on, I was hooked solely because of Adam Davidson and Alex Bloomberg and their TAL show on the subprime mortgage crisis.
