Love the plants chat, even if these guys are very mean about tradescantias! If you’re into houseplants this is for you. I discovered it when they interviewed Jane Perrone who hosts On The Ledge, another great houseplant podcast. They are fun to listen to and very knowledgeable. Recommended.

I listen to a lot of plant podcasts. A lot. But this one is my favorite. It’s refreshing to have two different opinions on houseplants. And as a researcher and nerd, I am blown away by not only their knowledge but how well researched the information is. You’ve got a fan for life here in Chicago.

I really enjoy this podcast. They’ve introduced me to some plants that are on my wish list as well as helped me with the care of my existing plants. Nice banter, sometimes helpful when it is a deep dive on one topic. More often than not I can’t follow all the Latin names without pictures when they are discussing a lot of plants in one episode. Show notes with the names written out or more photos on the blog to follow along would really help,...Read full review »

Thought this podcast was pretty good until I listened to the episode on tradescantias. They kept insulting it and downgrading its value, because it’s not one of those rare exotic plants and everyone can grow them. Well, for beginner plant parents like myself, I was deeply offended because...Read full review »

This podcast made me feel more normal. It’s friendly and informative, and gives me a sense of community (imagined, mostly).
