The art of negotiating
Hey Scott, is there anyway the Jets could bring in an assistant for Joe Douglas, who’s focus is on negotiating deals. Joe has done a lot of good things, but he’s fallen short on two big negotiations: acquiring Aaron Rodgers from Green Bay and trading for Hassan Reddick. BTW a while back you asked how people became Jets fans. My dad was a giant fan, but when the Jets drafted Joe Namath, my best friend called me up and said his father had just bought season tickets to the Jets! They took me along to a number of games. And it was easy to take the LIRR into Shea stadium from Manhasset. Then in 1968, went to the box office one morning during Christmas week, and bought tickets to the playoff game against Oakland that put them into the Super Bowl. While I moved to Indianapolis and then, 20 years ago, to Houston I’ve stayed loyal to the Jets. I’m also one of the few fans today who actually saw them (on TV) win a Super Bowl.

Love how you cover the jets in so many different angles like not other.

I have listened to the podcast for a long time. Scott does a great job of keeping it interesting daily. However, since the move to the overtime network, the amount and length of commercials has been obnoxious. It’s ruining the experience

...against which all others shall be judged. Scott, Joe and the boys are simply the best and continue to raise the bar with new content. They are the only thing keeping me sane as Jets fan.
