In 2008 at Prairie View A&M University, a young producer named Quinston Smith collaborated with his roomate Dorrough to produce the rap song Ice Cream Paint Job after turning their dorm room into a studio. He followed up with the hit Superstarr song "Halle Berry," and the rest is history.
