“Modern medicine is a business that in many areas is run for profit. The motivations of business lead to all sorts of biases and statistical machinations to bring new therapies to the (broken) market.
Dr Prasad knows all of these tricks and dissects them thoroughly. He is unabashed and a refreshing voice in an environment too willing to pay lip service to the status quo.
Thoughtful guests and forensic analysis of the latest big trials makes this essential listening for modern oncologists, healthcare workers, triallists or those interested in health policy. Recent podcasts on covid have been excellent.
Sometimes the level of outrage it invokes is not good for my blood pressure but once weekly dosing seems safe.
Also recommend Dr Prasad’s book ‘Malignant’ which is a concise summary of many of the themes explored in the podcast.”
