Very insightful from a deeper perspective than you'll get from the news. I especially love the news section because you get to hear about important pieces of news that you might otherwise miss. I love the perspective of the hosts because their insight is so important as people of color who...Read full review »

I appreciate the thoughtfulness and beyond DC aspects of this series. It doesn’t have the humor and sarcasm of some of the other crooked media but much of the news doesn’t get much play in mainstream media. Thank you for your diligence!

Great pod, covers everything in a very nuanced and informed way. Gracefully, and honestly explores the racial implications of everything that happens in America.

This podcast is GREAT. I love their insights and news. It’s time for us non-POC to LISTEN and this podcast is a great way to learn. Plus also, it’s entertaining. Serious, but entertaining.

To simply lable this podcast as a "Panel of those Of Color" completely downplays how many of the topics discussed impact every race (while highlighting important issues not often discussed in the mainstream). Such a generalization also downplays the expertise and work experience of the...Read full review »

I love most of Crooked's podcast. I believe I've subscribed to nearly all of them from the begging, and a few have fallen off my list over time - this being one of them. The point where Deray lost me was when he went after Bill Maher for making the "House N*gro" joke, and saying...Read full review »

These folks are not only charming, they have the most thoughtful and evidence based approach to unreported issues of race and justice I’ve heard. The evidence of injustice lays itself bare in the endless studies and fact based journalism that these folks present. Love the news, love the guests,...Read full review »

Pod Save the People provides news that is often overlooked and under reported. But it’s news we need in order to get our to where we want it to be.

Hosts are very well informed with thoughtful insights on topics we don’t hear about in other forums. One criticism: I don’t understand why DeRay says “ay ay ay” after his introduction every week. It’s annoying.

I listen every week, knowing I’ll get real news, and clear and direct opinions. Clint read one of his poems this week that said everything.
