“Ben Rhodes seemed to really care about the war against Gaza and displayed a rare sense of compassion and duty seen in mass media.
Now that Tommy has returned, the pod seems back to its old self. Reporting on Gaza has become more robotic and the pod tiptoes around the issue while using neutral language. Wording mimics major media outlets and seems to make war crimes and blown apart children seem like a byproduct of a reasonable war effort.
The pod is once again more consumable and administration-friendly, perhaps in preparation for the election. It’s starting to sound more like Pod Saves America again.”
