“I am thouroghly enjoying this informative and well-researched podcast. Dr. McDonald is certainly an expert on the patristic period and contributes insights that I never learned in church history class. So five stars despite the background noise. Apparently the lectures are being recorded in a church fellowship hall or classroom where there are other people talking. I hear converstions and children's voices in the background. I believe a knowledgeable audio person can filter out this background noise before uploading the podcast. The content is so good that it's a shame that it is marred by this minor flaw. Still, it's only an annoyance and not enough to prevent me from listening.”Read full review »
