Absolutely perfect podcast. I’ve listened to the whole back catalogue and it provides a great beat by beat history on new atheism and all it’s anti-Muslim bigotry

… to learn how uneducated and blinkered the up and coming media, activist and political are.

I’d give the show a full five stars if she’d be more mindful resolving — or, to make a strong point, not resolving — her tension-building monologues. I think she underestimates how powerful her use of music can be emotionally on listeners and needs to take the reigns to be certain she leaves the...Read full review »

I’ve been listening to this podcast since it launched quite a few years ago and it’s only gotten better with age. Eiynah, the host, provides a Saudi-raised, ex-Muslim perspective on contemporary politics. She began with a critique of conservative Islam, and as secular forces such as the New...Read full review »

Eiynah effectively ended my brief affair with New Atheism by giving me the moral clarity I needed to distinguish generic anti-religious sentiment from, e.g., Sam Harris’s anti-Muslim bigotry.

She’s so upset. About something that does effect her. Because it’s about her. She is our world. Just a ridiculous podcast.

Another so called progressive who comes across as woefully regressive. Managed to listen to a few of these and they are all largely insufferable. Author seems lost and meanders from place to place in a pool of extreme Wokist drivel. From one hand waving topic du jour to the next. She is very,...Read full review »

Very thoughtful and well researched! Eiynah is so great, her humor is fantastic! She does a great job of explaining topics throughly while keeping me super engaged!

At the start of 2020, I’d been listening to Rogan every day and Harris when I could. I’d come to think of them and the other IDW figures as intellectuals and champions of free thought via new atheist debate videos and the like. Throughout the pandemic, I began questioning my assumption that they...Read full review »

I had to turn it off after 5 minutes. So much drama, so little content.

I like this podcast because she shines a light on the dark and silly side of the IDW. Some times I hear exasperation with the IDW’s blindness and hence the snarkiness at times. I feel it as well.

What a terrible racist race baiter She’s just a petty mean spirited person with nothing but bad takes and flat out lies about the people she just doesn’t like personally because they dare disagree with her Nothing unique or informative to be found here It’s ironic that someone who was raised...Read full review »

Started as a really refreshing podcast, opposing anti Muslim bigotry as well as Islamism, leftist apologism for the latter. And also the anti-sjw grift. Had notable guests and spirited debates. Slowly her views became more reductionist and the podcast just a rant, repeating herself (though I...Read full review »

I came across this after hearing nothing of this lady for years. It boggles the mind that anyone would have so little self-respect, so little imagination, that they would mold their identity in relation to another person. I hope she gets the psychological help she needs. Hint: it’s not on...Read full review »

Are we meant to take this person seriously? She takes a really childish approach which I assume she believes is entertaining. It’s painful.

Not sure what to make of this. Eiynah was circa 2016 a fairly incisive and lucid commentator on a wide scope of issues. She would hold her own in conversations with luminaries of all types—the result were arguments that were interesting and valuable. Unfortunately, These last few years her output...Read full review »

I don’t know how many of the 1-star ratings come from religious Muslims angry that she’s an apostate and how many come from IDW/“New Atheist”-types angry that she calls out racism and xenophobia. Eiynah is good at sticking to her principles and is an ex-Muslim who refuses to be weaponized by the...Read full review »

Great podcast! Maybe the best left/progressive pod’s that covers the IDW-to-Far Right/Neo-Fascist connections that the former always denies, (unconvincingly).

This podcast is very interesting, and well structured – going into a satisfying level of detail about both headline issues (e.g. the lame cliches about 'political correctness') and less well known subjects (e.g. 'fasc fash'). The presenter and guests do a good job of balancing...Read full review »

This woman’s voice and diction is incompatible to deep listening. Plus, her voice leaky drips with disdain and condescension. Unconvincing.

Couldn’t get past the 5th episode. Just a self absorbed host attempting to push her opinion on others whilst complaining about others doing the same.

I’ve been subscribed for about a year and a half, and I love this show! Eiynah is an eloquent voice of reason, and she always has on interesting guests. Also I have to say I really enjoy the opening theme music. I definitely recommend.

Eiynah is highly-seasoned and well-rounded regarding various social and political climates, and how they intersect, which is partly thanks to how we use the internet. I';ve neglected in pushing ratings for a while now. Einyah is a voice speaking agiinst the so-called "intellectual dark web", while brtinging her own personal experiences in life, and reaching out to other people who have wandered from well-trodden paths (like me!). Eina has a great perspective. She candidly criticizes Islam without giving any cover to Islam a phobia and the alt right. She has a grease and podcast presence about her that makes her show really delightful. And I laugh every time I hear the intro.

Eiynah tales on the big issues of atheism from a left wing perspective. As an ex-Muslim and a leftist she has a perspective that is perhaps underrepresented in mainstream atheist discourse. She has great guests, too.

There's a reason Eiynah was 2018's Canadian Atheist's person of the year. She fearlessly critiques the Islamic and Western far-right, challenging both Islam and anti-Muslim bigotry. It's a shame this podcast only has ten or eleven reviews at this point. Oh well, great pod. Eiynah balances the tight rope of being a critic of Islam and advocate of human rights very well.
