“The hosts come off a little pretentious. Sorry. I wanted to love it, but on the first episode I listened to, they trashed most popular shows and movies from 2020 and gave huge props to shows that were very specific in taste that most people have probably not watched.
I guess it pairs well with classic CBC radio listeners, but I had hopes it would be entertaining and provide me with interesting pop (popular) shows to check out. I didn’t leave feeling that way at all.
Will give another episode a try, but I’m not feeling it will do more than “Here’s this cool thing I think I sound cool for watching, you’ll want to watch, but you’ll hate it and me for suggesting it and that’s so good.””
