Gossip posing as film reviews
Superficial observations, childish banter, and a deep disservice to the professionals that produce the shows and films they discuss. Is it called happy hour because people are talking as though they’ve had way too much to drink? A generally very low bar for analysis. How did this get approved by NPR? The show should really take a page from someone like Terry Gross whose thoughtfulness put this program to shame.
