Too many rabbit holes
My father introduced me to this podcast and I loved the idea. I started listening to some of these podcasts with him and we found that it wasn’t as great as we hoped for. We listened to the some of the episodes that interested us (DareDevil, Inception, and Nightmare before Christmas) and were somewhat disappointed. There are far too many rabbit holes that you trail into. I would’ve loved to listen to more, but half of the time I find myself groaning as you say “what we’re we talking about again?” In the Nightmare before Christmas podcast, your most recent one I believe (?), you had mentioned how your hand had cramps from writing so many notes. Yet you spent half an hour talking about Elfman and all the movies he was in! Let’s just say, my father and I didn’t finish the episode. Some constructive criticism- keep relatively on the topic, it really disrupts the podcast if you spend half an hour talking about the movies a musician has helped in, or about something else completely irrelevant. I hope this helps your podcast!

These guys have great podcast voices and do an amazing job of seaming the Gospel and culture in an encouraging way. This is ideal for the Christian who wants to learn about wisely consuming movies/film and culture.
