“A pastor friend of mine recommended this podcast to me a few years ago, and it has been a game changer. I am a huge movie fan, but as a believer, I always felt like maybe I shouldn’t love this medium as much as I do. Popcorn Theology has given me the ability to bridge that gap between faith and film and taught me that Christ can be found throughout so many of these stories we see on the screen. As someone who tends to analyze the technical/production side of film rather than looking at the themes or the heart of the story, I often miss the bigger picture. Popcorn Theology is helping me condition and strengthen that faith-finding muscle as I watch films to more easily see Christ and hopefully use that as a tool to connect other movie lovers to Jesus.
