Here’s an idea that has completely changed how I think about value in business - "free" doesn't mean "worthless."
Let me explain:
1️⃣First, you have the Info… when you share valuable and useful information that most people would actually pay for, you spark conversations and interest around that very topic.
Sharing valuable info for free can look like:
→Blogs
→Emails
→Social media posts
→Downloadable resources
→Podcast
→Live streaming
… and more!
Free and valuable information is a fantastic way to build trust and credibility!
2️⃣Next, you have the Insight… this is where the magic starts to happen. The insight you provide isn't just about understanding the info you just gave away for free; it's about showing your clients how to use it in their own lives or businesses.
This is also a great opportunity to charge a premium because it involves tapping to your own expertise.
3️⃣Lastly, you have the Implementation… this is when you close the circle on that free value! If they don’t want to do the work themselves, guess who they probably hire? You.
Implementing the information that we are given is the most important part of this equation! So instead of worrying about the $7 you might get for a downloadable resource, why not give the resource away for free, charge $$ for a deep dive into the resource and then more $$$ to put into action and implement all aspects of the resource?
We can give away valuable info for free while still charging for the insights and implementation that help our clients reach their goals.
