Relatable and Educational
I love listening to this podcast because I feel like Joel and Matt discuss all the money topics that are constantly swirling around in my mind while also teaching me something new. Hearing their perspective on money has helped me continue to reassess and reaffirm my financial goals such as investing in my retirement, choosing to spend money on house projects that make me happy, and cutting out unnecessary expenses. As a Vermont transplant, I really appreciate their craft beer descriptions because it helps me come up with new ways to describe the complex flavor profiles of the latest brews I'm tasting while sounding like I know what I'm talking about. I have to say the most engaging thing for me though is trying to figure out if Matt is speaking or if Joel is speaking, so I mostly appreciate that that they call each other out by name occasionally. As someone who only says someone's name if I feel comfortable super comfortable with them, to me it really shows that they truly are "best friends".Read full review »

Even though I don’t drink beer. I absolutely love this podcast! I have learned so much and it is broken down that even financially challenged people can understand it. Plus the guys are just entertaining.

This podcast is a hidden gem. Only been listening for a week and I absolutely love it! Joel and Matt are great hosts that dive into crucial topics about everything finance. And they have pretty good beer choices, an added bonus.

Two friends with different perspectives on managing money, but there's a lot to learn from them both.
