“So thankful for this podcast and that I gave it a shot. Modern day journalism (even at CBC) has let me down the last 20 years, even more so the last 5 years. Most “journalists” show their extreme bias towards society/politicians/guests/whatever, but this podcast asks straightforward questions and allows guests to speak their piece.
Vassy Kapelos is an unbelievable host, as she keeps guests on point, allowing them to speak in circles for only so long before commanding a straight answer or simply moving on; this leaves the listener to decide if the guest makes sense or just rambles on and on, saying nothing. Ms. Kapelos is a true journalist and a breath of fresh air in today’s mainstream media. I think she should start a school of journalism!
For anything regarding current Canadian news & politics, this is the place to be. Love it!”
