S2 E25 Growing into the Principle of Revelation
How can you grow into the principle of revelation and learn to be spiritually led at this critical time of your life?
Listen in as Sean and Brian discuss a pattern outlined in President Russell M. Nelson's talk "Revelation for the Church, Revelation for Our Lives" (April 2018).
"Follow the example of the Prophet Joseph:
1. Find a quiet place where you can regularly go.
2. Humble yourself before God.
3. Pour out your heart to your Heavenly Father. Turn to Him for answers and for comfort.
4. Pray in the name of Jesus Christ about your concerns, your fears, your weaknesses—yes, the very longings of your heart.
5. And then listen!
6. Write the thoughts that come to your mind. Record your feelings and follow through with actions that you are prompted to take.
As you repeat this process day after
day, month after month, year after year, you will “grow into the principle of revelation.” (April 2018)

Listening to this podcast is the best way to prepare for a mission
President Patterson was my mission President and is the most amazing teacher! I promise he will help you be ready to teach repentance and baptize converts!
So applicable and inspiring!
Our whole family loves listening to this podcast as part of our family scripture study! Our teenagers have learned a lot, but we have gained a lot as well as parents. This is getting all of us pumped to share the gospel — both now as member missionaries and in the future as full-time young adult and senior missionaries! Can’t thank the wise and relatable hosts enough for their practical applications, the scriptural insights (including especially from The Book of Mormon, “the tool of the gathering”) and for providing such a great resource for our household to tap into the power of “Preach My Gospel.” We look forward to every new episode. Keep them coming!
The best people!
