A rare treasure

I imagine that I may be one of the few nonacademic people who has read all of the books the Professor refers to in his Russian literature series. His lectures are enlightening and essential for a better understanding of this obscure but interesting subject area. We all can be grateful that he has done the work and presented these podcasts.

I am a patron, you should be, too.

Thank you, Professor Kozlowsky.

A fan listener

I work as a Custodian at night at a school and am currently enrolled in classes to become an English teacher. I listen to at least one episode a night as I enjoy the insight and knowledge that is provided. For me it doesn’t lose any of its interest listening to them again. You can tell the work can care he puts into these talks and I love how it’s like an instructor having a conversation wall hanging out. He’s not afraid to say when he’s not an expert on something or when something is really just rooted in his opinion and you can take it or leave it. I enjoy it immensely my only regret is running through the lectures so fast.

I do think Neil Gaiman, Cormac McCarthy or even a Philip Roth would be great authors to hear his insight on.

Great storyteller!

Stumbled upon this guy while reading Brothers Karamzov for a reading group, and now I’m addicted. He talks me to sleep every night. His philosophy lectures are good, but I get lost if it’s a philosopher I’ve never actually read. His Illiad lectures are great, as are his histories of classical Greece and Rome. He’s a great story teller and clearly an excellent teacher. I’m thrilled some college kids get to take him!
