Andrea Luz "Oona" Nery is a science research specialist in Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (PNRI). She is also one of the founding officer of the Philippine Young Generation in Nuclear (PYGN), an organization that aims to promote the benefits of nuclear to the youth. She is also the liaison officer for the International Youth Nuclear Congress.
She joins the Project Offbeat podcast today to talk about the career of being a science researcher, the importance of science communication, and why nuclear vs renewable energy shouldn't even be a debate!
