Concluding, we talked about the great cost of following Jesus, and the difference from be acquainted with Jesus and really knowing him.

This week we were honored to have special guest speaker Jonathan Barthlow speak at PROXY. Jonathan is a true ambassador for the kingdom of Jesus Christ here on earth. Prior to serving in his current role as the Chi-Alfa Director for the Assemblies of God in Iowa, he along with his family served as missionaries in Iowa.
In this special message Jonathan shares the great need to continually cast out the nets and share Jesus, while continually following him ourselves.

This week we continue forward to hear some of the things that Jesus talked about in the most famous sermon ever given. In it, Jesus tell us how citizens of his kingdom are to live, and gives keen teachings on how not to live like some do.

For the next two weeks we will be examining the most famous sermon ever preached by the most famous preacher to have ever graced the planet. The Sermon on the Mount continue to be a sermon that is preached in churches today.

This week we begin to look at the beginning of Jesus ministry according to the gospel of Matthew. Here we talk about baptism, Jesus temptation, Jesus message and the fact that he chose to call a bunch of rejects.

This week we answer some of the questions regarding the coming of Jesus to earth. How human was Jesus? How did people know Jesus was coming? Why did Jesus come to earth? All these questions are incredibly important to have answered because the answer is not some simple pithy answer, but are answers that themselves demand a question to be answered on your end.
