Not quite what I expected
It leans more into the political rather than psychological themes in the films they discuss, which is disappointing. The idea of the podcast is a great one, but it doesn’t quite deliver on the premise.

As a horror hound, I’ve always thought of horror movies as therapeutic. While talking about “self-care”, I often find myself de-stressing with watching a horror movie. I’m excited to see where the series goes and what topics/films will be discussed Horror Heals!! -Miggy

Not only one of the best horror podcasts available but also one of the best mental health ones too. The hosts handle each topic with sensitivity and intelligence whilst also being both hilarious and heartwarming.
