A hard listen
I loved the first podcast about Mair. Although I think Jonathan is a good storyteller overall, listening to him interject his feelings, emotions and opinions became exhausting to listen to. You told your story! While it’s nice to feel relatability, let the people you interview TALK and stop Interrupting them to finish their sentences or constantly say, “oh my God, me too!” The amount of interruptions from the host, took away and deflected from the person being interviewed so much, it made me feel like you were dismissive of their experience and feelings. While I understand the financial need for excessive adds, there was a lot of repetition within episodes of content being repeated. This podcast could have had longer episodes of new content and been a shorter series. I like the idea of more of these podcasts in the future with like stories because I do think they need to be told, but if the host could stop interjecting, reformat the content so there isn’t so much repetitiveness, and STOP interrupting, it would be good. I’d give it another try.

More reviews of Queen of the Con
I look forward to Thursdays and will be sad when it’s over! What a fascinating story and Jonathan’s presenting style is so human; I feel like I’ve been on a real rollercoaster with him.
