I don’t normally give reviews (shame on me)…
I listen to tons of podcasts and many just don’t live up to the blurb. I started this one (season one about the Irish heiress) because I’m Irish and I was curious but I wasn’t expecting a lot, truly. However this turned out to be one of the best podcasts I’ve listened to over the last 5 or 6 years - it was fascinating, at times very funny, suspenseful, an exhilarating journey from the beginning of the scam to the point when it looks like justice might finally be served. In spite of what happened to Jonathan, which must have been immensely stressful and traumatic, not to say financially ruinous, he never loses his sense of humour, and he is self deprecating, wry and entertaining throughout. Jonathan is a consummate storyteller and he also brings on board and weaves into his tale the testimony of a variety of friends, other victims, other potential victims and people who got drawn into events along the way. This adds great pace and texture. I give this is a 5 out of 5 and I just had to let people know. Excellent. I’m now going to listen to all the other seasons.

… the lawyer’s voice truly makes it hard to listen to. Great story though and well done!
