We had landed on the Monday before Mulcaster United’s European Cup match against Dynamo Paruge, Peter Penrice, my fellow defender, was sharing the room with me, Peter had moved to Mulcaster at the start of the season and had yet to taste the glory of a league championship but we had quickly become friends.
