Centra Back (In Time)
Sir Lawrence slowly opened the matchbox, revealing the disgusting severed ear of our star striker, this bought back memories of when I saw my first severed ear on that fateful week in Paruge. Paruge 1993. We had landed on the Monday before Mulcaster United’s European Cup match against Dynamo Paruge, Peter Penrice, my fellow defender, was sharing the room with me, Peter had moved to Mulcaster at the start of the season and had yet to taste the glory of a league championship but we had quickly become friends. My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on our door, our Captain, Bobby Adams stepped into the room, 'Have you seen Pierre?' he asked, referring to our leading goal scorer, 'he did not come back from his run'.Read full review »
