A nice but ultimately disappointing fantasy
I really wanted to enjoy this podcast and there is, in fairness, quite a lot to like about it. But having listened to all 40 odd episodes I am left feeling short changed. The story reached its climax and the author failed to describe the most important event, relying instead on the time worn device of having one character retell it (not even that well) to another. Grr. There were other minor stylistic problems too but I would have happily overlooked them if the story was artfully told. Sadly, it wasn't.
