A hybrid of ancient wisdom and modern pragmatism
A used book I came across, <Thou shall prosper>, led me to Rabbi Lapin. And a Youtube regarding The decline of America led me to Podcast. Coming from Protestant Christian worldview with a hint of serious skepticism and love for logic, I enjoy his views and interpretation 90% of the time. Like any other person, some views could be seen biased, but I happen to know every person is biased and entitled to do so-The relativism of the culture pretends that there are unbiased and objective view(one’s own). His knowledge on Hebrew culture and old testament connects legacy values and current affairs. His view on wealth could be seen self-justification but makes sense even if I don’t agree how he draws pro-wealth, pro-rich and Genesis. Still, his analysis on current affairs are very intellectually entertaining and thought provoking. So, now I am glad I have a full set of mentors -a pastor Tim Keller, a Christian apologist Ravi Zacharias (RIP), a professor Jordan Peterson, and a Rabbi Daniel Lapin. It’s like you have a wise grandfather who is friend with Gandalf.

I love the depth of thought. Each word is as a stroke of an artist’s brush that, when tied together, creates a masterpiece! Rabbi I thank you for all that you do.

I’m thankful for the connection. Having a Rabbi to help me walk in the light and enjoy all the teaching, correction and truth that he and his wife brings.
