This story deserves better story telling
The material is compelling: we’re in a new era of radicalization of otherwise “normal” via newly formed media sources. However I’m worried the listening experience on this podcast is rough enough that the people who SHOULD hear this won’t sit through it long enough to get the message. Don’t get me wrong: the sound quality is great - the producers were clearly aiming for radiolab level production. Unfortunately they overshot with the editing to the point you can’t follow along. Instead of helping to tell the story, the non-stop cross fades, voice overs, and sound effects interrupt every minute of narrative. It was a genuine chore to get through the first episode, and was so bad I actually turned it off, and waited a week to return when I was in a better mood. Again, I think this story should be told and more people should hear it, but it deserves to be told better. Maybe a re-edit?

More reviews of Rabbit Hole
