It was an ordinary day... until it wasn't
Virtually everyone had a childhood that included going to a sleepover or camp with scary stories being told. These were the stories that made your hair stand up. The creepy neighbor in the scary house at the top of the hill. The teenagers who's car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. Every sound from that point forward seems out of place, and you and your friends take turns asking "What was that?" Now you're an adult, and you can rationalize all of the ways in which those stories weren't true. But then truth is always stranger than fiction, and such is the case here. What makes these stories so creepy is that you can imagine these happening. They're based in the everyday. The narrative is so detailed and descriptive that you are going on the journey with the story teller as they describe a haunting, creepy, unnerving or sometimes even just odd event that stems from the everyday mundane life.Read full review »

I love Payne! The premise for those who haven’t listened is a radio rental shop with an actor who plays a strange/ cooky video shop owner.
