Used to be interesting, but viewpoints tend to be unrealistic
There’s a lot of information that is shared in each episode, however, all too often, either who cares or the information is unrealistic. Like the recent episode that I couldn’t finish that touched on End of the world scenarios. It went deep down rabbit holes so unrealistic (like the part about $2 bills in cold storage to help survivors in the event of a nuclear war. First of all, the LAST thing survivors of a nuclear war are going to care about is money, and when things settle down, there’s going to be a new currency used (likely in the form of food or other relevant commodities, like toilet paper or bleach). Too many one-sided arguments and not a lot of all the different angles are considered. To their credit, the content they do share is very deep and detailed, but there are so many other obvious angles that should at least be given a scientific chance in the argument. All too often, the so-called hypothesis of each episode is too narrow and so opinionated that I just can’t listen to them anymore. I’ll check in from time to time and hope that it can improve and better follow the scientific method, especially when so much of the content is scientific in nature.

This show is at once educational,...Read full review »

This podcast is just okay in my opinion. The style is a rip off of this american life, which is so great it should be ripped off more often. However, this show is dumbed down and very corny. Having two hosts provides too much chatter and creates howard stern-like prolonged cackling. It's...Read full review »

After listening to an episode you feel like you were blind and can now see. They take everyday functions and things we take for granted and seem monotonous and give it a whole new perspective. You do not really have sight until they explain the complexeties of what goes into it. I am serious...Read full review »
