Speaking straight facts. Topics are so relatable and hilarious 😂. This is definitely it!
I like it, however...
Been seeing this all over and I miss home so I was excited to listen. I binged a bunch of episodes & love the show. I’ve watched on YT too and Melvin I me and I am him with the facial expressions 😂. I love how level Jesse is. HOWEVER... I’ve become hesitant to listen (and some of my friends feel the same way) because Raymond can be very triggering with the things he says and how he communicates. He backtracks and gaslights a lot esp when his opinion is not popular and I don’t like how he treats Tracy. AT ALL.
I also wish the pod focused more on things concerning Uganda like UG parenting, mental health, predatory culture & misogyny, your cultural stuff, why Jesse & Raymond were born and raised in Kampala but don’t speak Luganda, the food, the games you played growing up, fun things to do around Kampala, politics, UG pop culture stories, your college and postgrad stories, etc. I hear more about what’s happening in America on this podcast (and so much of it is not true 💀) than I do from here yet I live here. And America gets so much press already. Other than that, good job guys. I’m rooting for you.
