I loved this podcast when I first found it, I still enjoy listening to some of the older cases they have covered so well. Unfortunately in the last year or so it has been uncomfortable to listen to as the hosts (Laura and Jim) seem to compete for who can talk the most and who is more knowledgeable. I use to love Laura but I feel she possibly would work better with her own show as she constantly interjects with her own points and seemingly seems to turn all cases into a stance were she is able to talk about coercive control. Don’t get me wrong I understand coercive control is extremely important and needs to be discussed but not at the expense of talking over other hosts. I wish they would communicate more affectedly rather than just waiting for the other to stop speaking of interrupting each other. Not sure if I’ll continue listening at this rate.
