This one’s a banger
New favorite show, absolutely worth listening. One of my favorite parts of Sundays.
More of these two good boys
I may never get to play Baldur’s Gate 3, so listening to this show will do for now. The choice to run it like an audio version of a Dragon Magazine works nicely to my mind. I enjoy the different segments, and that they take time to give a little attention to specific things each episode, like certain spells, tactics, and creatures. I’ve been listening to these guys for years now, so I may be biased, but it also is a testament to their staying power. I’ve fallen off of every other long running podcast I started listening to… besides the three or four that I listen to by these folks. Possibly my favorite aspect of their coverage of media is that they’re careful to delineate between their personal takes, and objective facts. Even when those two things mingle they have good reason, and years of in-depth review experience with which to back it up. Do I agree with them on every take? No, of course not. But I still respect their positions, and never feel like they are accusing anyone of being a fool for enjoying something that they don’t enjoy.
2 of my faves
Oh look! It's two cool dudes covering one cool game. The Patreon is super worth it, you get a looooot of stuff besides this show.
