51, thankfully SA-recovered 51 yr old Mom of 4 guys; first episode I heard was #71, your One year anniversary podcast. So you’re up to 10 listeners now!!! Lol. Kidding, but I’ll be sharing with my circle of people. Thanks for the genuine shares, the great humor, the obvious friendships you share. Keep it up. And watch the listeners list GROW! Helping me with al-anon
I really like this podcast! I’m new to al-anon and one of the things you’re supposed to do is go to open aa meetings as well. I’m still struggling to fit al-anon meetings into my schedule, let alone adding on aa, so I’ve only been to a few. But this podcast has been really great for me to hear stories from others in recovery and those with addiction. I’ll still need to do the aa meetings, and this podcast is NOTHING like a meeting, or even the other recovery podcasts out there. But, that’s a big part of what I like about it. It’s a good way to listen to something that can still focus on recovery without being actually part of the program itself. They’re funny and relatable and it’s truly an entertaining podcast!

I love this podcast so much!! I was having a brutally bad day recently--I mean really bad--and decided to pop on an episode while I was driving to do some errands. As soon as Kyle and Aaron's banter started, I had an ear to ear grin and was laughing in no time. I mean, these guys really crack me up. I love the frequent baseball interjections, although I don't know s*$# about baseball, and the ways they veer off topic. On a more serious note, they really get down to the nuts and bolts of a spiritual solution to a spiritual malady, the nature of the psychic change, and all that good recovery stuff. And, at the same time, they really dive into all the "outside help" stuffs!! I can't say enough. Really good stuff going on here.
