Amazing and Curious... became doubtful
I can't stop listening to your show! Not only do I listen to your show as an escape from my stressful and pretty mundane life, but I also learn something interesting and look forward to commutes back and forth from work (who says that!) Also, I was wondering if Suruthi could do a list of films she would recommend but not necessarily based on quality, but just interesting to her. My sister and I always get together to talk about disturbing and weird films. We are both biracial (african american and indonesian) and grew up in Arkansas of all places, so we always are curious about people who are similar to us but have uncommon taste too.I am so happy to have stumbled on you two and please keep it going! Both of you compliment each other so perfectly. Thanks! I wrote the above being such an avid listener but I am updating my review with one less star, only because I find that the FB group online is just terrible and fake and there needs to be more recognition for minority cases. Not only was a post of mine taken out of context but whomever the site administrator was (on FB) went down my throat after I commented on why ( even using vile language). I of course understood why but it took many back and forth communication to get to a familiar good place. It not only lead me not to be a Patreon anymore, but I also stopped listening for a while. Podcasters do not seem in tune with all their social media functions once they get a larger base. I also thank it’s a cop-out to only now pay attention to minority cases just recently after George Floyd. I think being at least 1/2 of the show, Suruthi could have addressed this sooner than just one death happening in the nation wide media recognition. Still a great show, and slowly coming back to listening again.Read full review »

Mr
Just a quick message to say how much I enjoy the podcast. They are really well researched and you cover some of the less known cases. keep up the good work ladies.

Not sure how this fits into the comedy bracket as its about true crime. The way the 2 ladies banter between them and give their honest opinions makes the podcast different from all the others. It doesn't detract from the seriousness of the crimes discussed. Give it a listen.Read full review »

There are a ton of true crime podcasts out there, but very few, if any, manage to strike that delicate balance between gruesome, horrific torture/ murder description and hilarious tangent as well as this one. Definitely worth a listen!
