The podcasters podcast

Though the listenership isn’t as high as other retro video game podcasts (or YouTubers). It’s the podcasters podcast. A number of big time podcasters and YouTubers in the retro video game scene recommend Retro Game Squad as one of - if not their favorite retro podcast.
They are correct!

One of my favorite podcasts

I just recently discovered the podcast, and man I can’t believe it took this long. Bright side is I have a ton of content to listen to in order to get caught up. As another reviewer said, the guys love what they do and you can hear it in their voices. I LOVE the ATHF references. I’ve watched the first 4-5 seasons multiple times, so I immediately recognize the quotes and get a good chuckle every time. Listening to the show is like sitting with a few childhood friends and reminiscing about games we played as kids. As someone that’s always been into retro gaming but also emulation as well, this show is a great way to get recommendations of games to check out. This is how a retro gaming podcast should be done. Keep up the GREAT work!

Goes down smooth.

These dudes clearly love doing this, and love gaming. Listening to the show feels like hanging out with friends. Great anecdotes, excellent chemistry, fun game convos, and no cynicism. You guys rock, and I’m so happy you’ve found this outlet. Great journey so far. Great luck to ya!
