“I’ve read Gladwell‘s books and recently decided to listen to this podcast. Despite the ads aimed at the well-to-do and economically advantaged, and Gladwell‘s often bougie editorializing, I liked learning new things, and found the episodes informative. Gladwell has held a place amongst those with diverse perspectives. But….maybe he’s not keeping pace with his younger contemporaries…?
In reality, the show needs more perspective around modern mental health concepts. Gladwell chooses “expert” guests whose values are similar to his own linear and narrow understanding and do not represent an informed, progressive, or modern take on the the human condition.
Good and bad here.”
