An oasis of sanity in a desert called Crazy
As a long-distance observer of US politics, there seem to me two truths in 2024: first, Trump is uniquely unfit to hold the high office of president; and second, the progressive left, as embodied by the Democratic Party, is wrong about everything. To paraphrase Carl Trueman, the choice in November is between a man who confuses the biblical canon with the writings of Jefferson and a party that is enacting the abolition of man. If you share my dismay, then The Ricochet Podcast is for you. Unlike so many Never Trumpers, who seem unable to speak a word against the baleful social agenda of the Democrats, Peter Robinson, Rob Long and James Lileks are unashamedly conservative whilst remaining clear-eyed about the manifold deficiencies of Trump. The podcast is a breath of fresh air in an age of partisan rancour. Highly recommended.

I started listening to this podcast during the 2016 election campaign. If you are interested in conservative political talk that is not inflammatory, you will love this podcast. These three hosts give a moderate conservative take on current events while mixing in wit and humor.

The chemistry of the hosts and guests makes this podcast very easy to listen to and enjoy. The Ricochet Code of Conduct helps keep everything civil here as well as on their website. Not too much screaming and vitriol. Haha. Taste it. You'll like it.Read full review »
