Not for me anymore
Hey guys, have been listening to the podcast for the 3 decades it has been out, ever since the early days, and it has become a reflex for me to listen to every podcast, every week. I have probably seen every episode at least twice, and have loved every second of it. I know you guys must be having a tough time due to the pandemic, like everyone, not having much to talk about since were all stuck at home with nothing new week to week. However these last few podcasts have really felt sad. A lot of fake laughter about dumb arguments that don’t make any sense / aren’t really that funny. I know that it is a matter of opinion, and some would say that is all the podcast has ever been, however it just feels different. Maybe it’s Burnie leaving RT, maybe it’s the knowledge of Ryan trying to sex up children and no one really acknowledging it, or Barbara getting more annoying each week, or maybe it’s me not vibing with some of the new cast members like Eric and his stupid “I’m little” joke that has been cringeworthy since the beginning. I’m sorry RT but it’s over between us, it’s not you, it’s me. I feel as though maybe I’ve just finally grown out of your content and it’s time for me to move on. I wish you luck Gavin on your future endeavors, and Gus I hope you never go through with your shotgun retirement plan (haha!) I wish you all long and happy lives, goodbye. I have been a long time fan of Rooster Teeth Productions and this addition to their library is another fine example of their genius. Current affairs with an enhebreated twist. Definately worth an hour out of your week!
