If Burnie Is Gone Then I’m Gone
I’ve watched and listened for about 7 years now. I always loved to see the cast list when it was Geoff, Jack, Gavin, Burnie, Gus, and Barbara. It’s no lie that Rooster Teeth has to remain politically correct since 2016 to stay relevant. It just seems that a podcast that was originally about video games, personal experiences and ideas has turned into a one sided political forum and Austin airport construction. I listened because I loved the content and tolerated the small political talk. However now it’s just too much to bear. Whenever I look at the cast list and it’s newer cast members like John Risinger, I just go ahead and delete the podcast episode from my phone. Burnie has always been my favorite. He always plays devil’s advocate and furthers discussion. It seems like when he is not on the podcast then it becomes very politically one sided and the conversations turn south quickly. As you can tell by now I’m of the conservative mindset. However, unlike how they portray conservatives I believe in the morally correct. It just is so tedious to listen to a podcast that constantly bashes one side and doesn’t even talk about what started it all: video games. It’s just exhausting to listen to a podcast that tells you if you’re conservative you’re a bad person when that’s not true and there’s more to life than just black and white sides. There is so much gray area that is not compromised on. Rooster Teeth has grown no doubt. They have a lot of great new shows. Nonetheless, the video game and technology podcast I grew to love has changed and I understand things do because that’s a part of growing. Thanks for the last 7 years RT. It’s been fun! But I’m headed to find a new video game, television, and technology podcast.

Great podcast, hosted by funny and likeable people who are able to create a very friendly environment. Their discussions are goofy and nerdy, but still remain a good listen for anyone looking for something different to place in their podcast library. Highly recommend to anyone looking for cool...Read full review »
