A lovely, gentle, yet fascinating pod
I think the reason why Rosebud is so good is because Gyles is genuinely curious about people. He wants to know the answers himself, not just for his audience, and that comes across. Also, you feel he cares about the interviewee and wants to ensure the experience is pleasant for them. I appreciate this, because there’s no cringe factor.

Loved listening to the interview with Rupert Everett. So insightful. Giles is an excellent unobtrusive interviewer.

Brandeth interviews accomplished and interesting guests skilfully. His natural empathy encourages them to speak freely. The engaging interview with the talented Rupert Everett was a fine example of this podcast’s superior appeal.

Gyles is so easy to listen to. Wonderful to hear his chat with our national treasure Dame Judi Dench and he followed it with another treasure: Alison Hammond. Can’t wait to hear who he talks to next! Fascinating to hear all their firsts (loves, disappointments, jobs, smells etc). Awesome idea.
