This is called rugby union weekly, not the “Danny care pod”
If we want to hear a joey from friends style monologue about peanuts and how much he should play for England....just set up a separate pod..
... and now it’s happened, the episode is devoted to worship him while Ugo’s squabbles with Chris have become increasingly petty, repetitive, puerile, distracting.
Who would have thought Chris Ashton (not “Ashy”!) would become the most mature and insightful member?
One review below from March says they’re trying too hard to make it “interesting”... they used to have chat, but seem to be trying to do “banter”.
Desperation? Ending every pod reading out (supposed) fanmail fawning over them 😂🙄(“love the pod & love you too guys, you’re amazing 🤢)
We persisted for a while, but the thought of the over-sensationalised hype increasing over the World Cup (with or without DC’s banal self-loving input) is switching us off in droves.
Compare this to the BBC’s Scottish rugby podcast & Welsh (scrum v) that actually talk about....rugby!”
