Going from poor to awful
Supposed to be a show from the BBC, this has become an Anglocentric ramble from a couple of Harlequins players and occasionally their mate. Monye has forged a career as an insightful pundit (although he’s just referred to “a mute point” on the most recent episode) but the other 2 can barely string a sentence together most of the time and seem to be involved largely to provide crude allusions to being drunk on tour and reflections on colleagues getting jobs with England. When Chris Jones (an actual correspondent) is hosting he occasionally provides balance by playing the Welsh card but NI and Scottish listeners and rugby fans are generally neglected. Oh for the days of BBC journalistic integrity, competence and service! Time to unsubscribe I’m afraid.

Captures all that’s best about rugby. On one level great insights into the issues of the day, the guys are clearly well-connected and knowledgeable. On the other, even at the professional level, rugby has a wonderful micky taking culture that shines through on the pod.
