“This is my first time ever rating a podcast or leaving a review on one despite the fact that I listen to podcasts as my MAIN source of entertainment.
I have a similar “sad to savage” story but it more so encompassed my self love journey/boundaries and not so much habitual patterns in all of the quadrants.
Habits have always been an issue for me and I attribute most of that to my recent ADHD diagnosis (at 32 WUT).
I can be doing something habitually for 100 days and then just decide I don’t want to anymore and don’t even miss it.
I listened to every episode in a day and a half and learned about habit stacking. I just KNOW this is the answer to my problem of making a habit and sticking to it. Since starting these podcasts, I’ve woken up at 6:15 every day (6 days total) and stayed up ALL DAY with no naps (this is huge bc as a SAHM, i found myself sleeping till 7, rolling out of bed, getting my kids ready in record time, and running out of the door and getting them to school with MAYBE 5 min to spare and coming home to sleep till 9-10). I feel like I’ve been given a second lot at life.
Shelby is absolutely adorable “heyyyy”. She exudes passion about her strategies. And also she’s a pisces like me and we are amazing! Heyyyy! 😂 if you are looking for a podcast that will motivate you to be your best self, subscribe. If you are looking for a podcast that makes you feel excited about life, subscribe. If you are looking for a podcast that makes you feel like you’re talking to your best friend on the phone, subscribe.
THE ONLY THING i wish was different was … i feel like it’s most authentic when she kind of spirals off in a little rant.. the rest of the time it seems like she is reading from a script - which I get bc there’s a lot of info she is sharing! I feel like if she just went off of bullet points and did her little rants with quotes it would be different. HOWEVER, what she is doing is working so i don’t even care that much haha!”
