Sooner or later, every athlete gets forced out of training by an illness, injury, or other circumstance beyond their control. For goal-oriented endurance athletes, sitting on the sidelines can be painful and take a toll on our mental health. So for those of us who are out of training and feeling at loose ends, I've created this handy to-do list. Follow it to make the most of down time and come back stronger. But be careful.
