Welcome back. Hope your new space is everything you need. I had grown accustomed to your voice while working in my studio. Didn’t know how important your podcast was till it wasn’t. Really looking forward to more episodes.

I've been missing this podcast a lot. Used to listen to it all the time. While it was on break I would think about it occasionally and wonder if it would ever come back. The last couple of days it's been on my mind and I'm so so so excited that it is back today and also that I might...Read full review »

Antrese Wood's conversation with Julia Cameron is a masterclass in the art of listening and embracing our inner creativity. "Savvy Painter Podcast with Antrese Wood" consistently offers deep dives into topics that touch the artist's soul, and this episode is a testament to that....Read full review »

As a painter who has had her life upended too many times, getting back into it can feel like climbing the same mountain again and again without a trail and never reaching the top. You lose touch with friends, live in places where you don’t fit in. Putting on headphones and walking with Antrese...Read full review »

So glad to have found this podcast, I just love the way Antrese thinks, and the different perspective she offers 💜

Antrese gets to the heart of the matter while simultaneously offering a different perspective to explore. Pick a subject that any artist struggles with- and it’s probably presented here with more truth and love than our beautiful divergent minds can absorb in one sitting. Thank you so much!

Antrese’s podcast and coaching is a pivot point in my life. It has been a journey, yes, but more a moment in time when I turned towards trusting my artist. When I started listening to myself and acting on what I love, as many hours in the day as I can. Antrese is blessed with a thoughtful,...Read full review »

“Artist are awe hunters”. This episode truly opened my eyes to how I view my experiences as ordinary. And somehow neglect to include them in my art. As a mother who has to keep it together, I find myself scattered when it comes to my art. This reminded me to loosen up and remain centered. Thank you!

This is by far the most helpful, creative, and thought provoking podcast I’ve ever come across. Every episode gives me new ways to look at my art practice, and life in general. Antrese shares in a way that feels entirely genuine and personal. The topics feel fresh, and even when treading...Read full review »

Hello! I only found the podcast yesterday and listening to Antrese talk while I painted was really wonderful. I felt like I’d found a friend who was prepared to explain and talk through so much of the stuff that’s been rattling around in my head. Awesome! Thankyou

Antrese is the perfect mentor to have with you in the studio. Here I am set up with 6 WIPs on easels, house-sitting while my daughter is on holiday, with 3 days of just myself & painting to focus on - bliss. Love my 3 grandsons but totally loving this as a quiet space for a change. What...Read full review »

I love listening to this show. It’s one of the few that, if my podcast player keeps giving me more episodes of it in a row, I don’t mind a bit. It is exactly what I need to learn to believe in my own creativity.

This podcast rules. I’ve been a longtime listener now, and the quality of content is rich. Antrese has put together something really special, and the guests she has are top notch artists. I always love listening to Antrese when I’m in my home studio painting. She is always inspiring and seems to come from a place of genuinely just wanting to help. She has dug me out of some painting slumps and encourages my good wolf to come out and play. Thank you!

Antrese is amazing. I have her podcast playing one episode after the other when I am painting. I can relate to most of what she says and I have recommended her podcast to other artists I know. Plenty of food for thought!

A lot of pop psychology that comes from a place of privilege. A lot of it feels invalidating to someone trying to balance an art practice with making ends meet. Why does everyone like this?
