Just listened to the alcohol in pregnancy episode and it’s frankly depressing to hear three female academics who seem unable to separate their moral judgements from their research interests. Essentially, the message of this episode is that British people are weird because they drink too much and...Read full review »

Very interesting. Nice different approach to discuss drugs. Would be very interested to have an episode on ghb and gbl.

Too many Sort of, kind of likes. Makes intelligent people sound stupid. Shouldnt talk about drugs youve never taken.

I was a big fan of this podcast, true drug information is much needed, but I’ve unfortunately had to unsubscribe as I don’t like the way this podcast has transitioned into another vanity project. I’m a subscriber to all the Distraction Pieces Network shows, and Say Why has just morphed into a...Read full review »

Just found your podcast. Absolutely refreshing to hear the facts-good and bad. Not many places left to listen or read anything like this. Great job!

I listened to the cannabis episode and she could not even explain the endocannabinoid system which is found in all vertebrate creatures and this is why endo-cannabinoids and photo-cannabinoids actually work in our system. The adolescent brain grows until about 24 years of age. I could keep...Read full review »

This podcast doesn’t offer more than what you could find in a simple google or wiki search. I tried to listen to the DMT episode and not only was it not informative, parts of it weren’t even accurate. I was hoping that because it’s hosted by someone with a doctorate that it would offer up a...Read full review »

Really enjoy suzi gage and her work, since seeing her episode on the Bristol drugs project and her presentation, she’s amazing. Great information and platform to start looking into new issues.

Guy needs to stop constantly chiming in with “ya”. It’s unnecessary, distracting, and has put me off from further listening.

This is like someone who’s never driven a car talking about what it’s like to be a race car driver. Absolutely cringe worthy. Besides that some of the facts presented (which one would expect they at least get that right) are totally wrong. I really believe this would do more harm then good...Read full review »

I know you’re trying so hard to be a totally neutral and objective conversation, solely about information and not rooted in judgement whatsoever... but, that seems impossible. I appreciate the straightforward, scientific outlook of Dr. Suzu Gage. Scroobius Pip’s anecdotes are insightful as well. I think people could benefit from listening to these facts and learning information in an unbiased way.

I’m really enjoying this podcast but the fella having the chat with the Dr. Seems to easily get distracted and go off topic whilst the Dr. Keeps having to reel him back in. Just a bit annoying so I hope this is addressed. Cheers

The podcasters here have brought in experts and seem to have done their research into each substance of topic. It has really made it about letting you make your own opinions about each drug. Wish everyone have this as compulsory listening.

Educational and objective look at the various substances we can consume, what to expect and myths busted. Great educational tool for the curious and the misinformed.

There is something iconoclastic about Suzy Gage and Scroobius Pip talk in an informed and educated way about drugs. It belies the media scares and the 'dope cures everything' stoner propaganda. I really like the fact profiles they provide as well as their opinions on ethics and policy. I would love to hear them do an episode on dissociatives like MXE and all the pcp analogues. I hope they continue to study MXE because I think it has way more therapeutic value than ketamine IMO.

Stimulating and entertaining, but I wish Scroobius would stay more on topic!
