“Pretty much all races have been slaves at some point, so using it as an excuse for being late (“time is a white mans construct”) or not paying tax etc - is just poor intellect unless you don’t want to use roads, schools or NHS that todays taxes pay for. What is the point of “white men like the sounds of their own voices” - ALL men like the sounds of their own voices and since you have a podcast, ahem, so do you - and (if it were reversed) would be decried as a racist and just undermines your impact. Ditto the competitive nature of (white) men running - they compete with ALL women, not particularly black women! The rest of the discussion - eg to focus on what YOU are doing - was really great and inspiring. A strong female speaker. I’d listen to more, as a different perspective.”
