Smart, fun, and even a little sweet
Gotta love a smart Black woman! And one as nice and funny as Laci? Amazing. I’m not even into the scams as much, but to hear her do them gets me interested and listening. Her cheery and nice demeanor, how she grasps interest for certain points, how silly she get with her guest, even the little things like how she refers to every collective group as ‘the girls’. And the types of guest she has on! Love hearing those little Black nerds like me on a pod like this (it feels so rare). On top of all that, if you look at it deep enough this pod actually gets into the dichotomy good and evil from a perspective standpoint. Yes, they’re all scamming, but you certainly can’t call everyone here a bad person. Scamming and giving it back to charity or scamming the confederacy into economic crumble? Others come out of their scams a complete chaotic neutral! The lines can be so blurry sometimes and SG can attest to that. Btw, anyone saying Laci is ‘putting on a blaccent’ screw you guys! Just because she has spectacular vernacular and speaks properly doesn’t mean parts of her personality won’t rip through sometimes! My only problem isn’t even their fault (at least I don’t think it is)! Yo Apple, where the rest of the episodes? I’m in the teens then we just skip to 60 something?! Was there a misnumbering? Is the audio corrupted, did it not make the list? Someone please fix this please, you’re letting the whole congregation down! Collectively it’s a gem, and when Laci Mosley is at Whoopi levels or higher one day it’ll be nice to know this one of the things that got her that famous.
